a walk to remember
When you walk in life it is like walking an unpaved path, there is a direction but not a specific way. There is a destination but how to reach is to be yet figured out. You can walk alone or walk with a group but soon you get bored of some people and look for solitude. If you walk slowly on your own pace you can enjoy natures offerings in the way but at the same time you will also be left behind. So you have to be really careful about walking neither too fast nor too slow. If it rains you might feel delighted on the contrary if the rain occurs more than the delightfulness it will only be difficult to walk further. There is uphill, there is downhill where you’ll find stone and sand alike with or without the occasional water stream that enrich your soul. Sooner or later they would join you (by they I refer to a specific category of people not a stereotype). In hot and cold you would want to have them beside you walking or even running if necessary. You will carry their load even if yours is too big to carry and your back has been crying all the way! You will make way for them and rest when they are tired. You walk with them holding hands, even in most difficult of terrains you do not let go but hold it even tighter hinting fear or insecurity. However, sometimes you’ll have to let it go or who knows they might imbalance and fall (you wouldn’t want that?). Sometimes they will have to be left to find their own path but make sure it is parallel to yours or there is a high chance of getting lost. If you hold them too tight they would break free, but that doesn’t mean you let it loose. Make sure both of you are walking together and when the final stretch is complete you will only find yourselves looking back and blogging about it!

ill throw you
there is a feeling we get when we are scared...or being scared is the feeling we get when we are not sure of what is happening! when we do not know what to do...we are helpless and then the infinite time series of waiting for the call begins. we can neither do anything nor sit idol and wait, it is pathetic how we feel at that very moment! we are insecure to loose the loved one's and also afraid of what might just happen. when everything just seems wonderful the gods grow jealous and kill your happiness. we keep calling and calling, we text and text but no reply. we have thoughts of all kinds....basically very very weird ones! things that have never crossed our minds start to haunt. by the time its 1AM we start to sweat in the cold. we have got no option but to wait for one call or message or anything at that time would do. every call or message we receive, we think its them but no...its customer care! we feel that we would just kill them when they call because of such stupid actions by them!
then the cell rings, we are so happy to see their name that we forget all the anger, all the things we had planned to yell on them. later when we come know that nothing was serious, they just did not realize the phone was ringing! we feel like a fool and just want to hug them and cry for all the fear that had haunted us for no reason maybe but all that insecurity proves that how much we love those stupid people who are insane and we are insanely in love with them!

puzzled...:P
I remember whenever I played the jigsaw puzzle game I used to look for the right puzzle piece. No one ever gets the correct piece in one go. Do we? We have to use hit and trail to find the right piece for the right position. Sometimes in life we look for the right piece and like it so much (whether it is the one or not) that we try to fix it into the puzzle of our lives. We try so hard that we end up either ruining the puzzle or hurting the piece we loved so much. We do not see that will this piece fit in the place we want it to? No, I think we are blinded by the love and need of the piece which ends up in disaster.
Also, have you noticed that there are other times when we don’t need to fit some pieces? They just come and settle at the right place. No force no will require. Some people enter our lives with an accident, creep in with no intentions and come closer with just laughter and boom! We cannot even make the heads and tails of it and they are already special! By the time we realize it, it has been already too late. Soon we start getting hints and clues that it is the right piece. When we come to know them better we think that why did we not meet sometime before? Where were they all this time? Folks we will only meet them at the right time and at the right instance. Everything with them is right; if we order chicken they will not order cheese! The universe knows us too well and even knows what we want and need. If we really want that piece we will get it but that doesn’t mean we stay up home at weekends and hope them to ring the bell! And after you meet them please do not let them go, keep them so close that their one sneeze shakes you both and both of you catch cold!

What about the thing?
He had sweat on his head, though the month was December yet the cloth on his head had gone wet. The one that made him look like a terrorist. He knew the time had come, it was the judgment day! All the practice, the efforts he had put in for this one day had come at last. Even his group was in a similar worry that led him to perspire so much. He knew it was his turn now, before him others had done their part and speaking of which they had done marvelously well. He too had to prove himself, prove to be as capable or even better then all those who preceded him. Suddenly he saw someone approaching him,
“You go next!” she said.
He looked at his co-actor and gave a smile suggesting that everything will be alright. His friend, his mentor gave the assurance back to him. He asked him for the thing that he was supposed to put before he goes on stage. He was playing the terrorist in their version of the killings of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He needed that one thing to complete his attire. His AK-47 was looking more of a real, the uniform and the wet scarf added to the disguise. Even though he had never encountered a terrorist before he knew what and how they think. He had read about them, he read a lot. Five minutes was the only time they had before the stage would demand their presence, they did not have it. It was too late to get it from the hostel they were staying in, the road would be busy and they did not even have a conveyance. He had done the math several times already in his head, and twice aloud!
He ran towards everywhere, he saw none who would have it with them. He ran to other side and saw a girl in her teens. He asked her if she could lend it, for once. He promised he would return it but no, she did not help. His head was spinning, his head was sweating. He did not know where to go; he might as well have forgotten where he had come from. He looked on all sides, they all looked the same! He felt guilty; it was his responsibility, the only one. How could he have forgotten such a small object but of a great importance? He looked at his watch; it showed there was only a minute left. With no option or hope he moved towards the backstage. He ran like the wind blew, overcoming every obstacle in his way, ignoring anyone that came in his way. On an unrelated note, have you ever thought what would happen when ‘an unstoppable force meets an immovable object’ (don’t laugh, the joker thinks about it!)? Well, it was about to happen. In the midst of his hurry, everything seemed slower then. The people faded away like when the hero of a movie meets the heroine for the first time or when the lead song of the movie is about to play and both of them teleport to some beautiful place(they even change clothes!). It happened exactly like that! He saw her; she seemed to be like the girl who would have it. She had beautiful eyes; those kinds of eyes that demanded such attention. He couldn’t stop looking; his eyes were no more his but hers already. He did not have the dare to ask her, but he had to. He went forward and let his guard down. She seemed surprised (any girl would), and a question mark appeared on her face. He repeated that he really needed it. She started looking in her bag, he kept looking at her. She seemed beautiful then; he had been struck by the lightening. Maybe the unstoppable force had stopped but did the immovable move? He did not know, he had even forgotten about his hurry! She handed it over to him, he seemed lost.
The picture was now over, he only had thirty seconds now and he had just remembered. He had no words to say also he had no time. He started walking back; he did not want to stop looking. He turned as someone shouted his name. It was his crew, they were waiting for him but was she too? The thought came to him for the rest of the day. He had only one thing that reminded him of her, the thing she had handed him. However, it was the reason they had met in the first place. The results were out later that day; their group had won the sixth place. No one was happy, it had rained too. They were on their way back when his phone blinked a received message.
“Do you still have my thing?”
“You go next!” she said.
